Outdoor Plant Sales / Customer Service

Part-Time & Full-Time | Seasonal

  • Assist customers with outdoor plant purchases

  • Basic knowledge of trees, shrubs, and/or perennials required

Outdoor Plant Manager

Full-Time | Year-Round

  • Oversee and maintain outdoor plant inventory and displays

  • Manage outdoor plant sales

  • Lead and supervise a team

Cashier

Full-Time & Part-Time

  • Training all seasonal cashiers

  • Assisting with gift shop setup and product unpacking

  • Keeping the cashier and gift shop team productive during all shifts

  • Maintaining a clean and organized customer service area

  • Flexible schedule preferred

Nursery Manager

  • Running the nursery department efficiently

  • Ordering and maintaining healthy, well-stocked plant inventory

  • Weekly ordering for the department

  • Strong knowledge of perennials, shrubs, and trees

  • Keeping the department clean and organized

  • Providing excellent customer service

Hardgoods Manager

  • Maintaining a clean and organized garden supply and hardgoods area year-round

  • Setting up, merchandising, and selling garden supply products
    (fertilizers, herbicides, and general hardgoods)

  • Learning and operating the POS system

Perennial / Houseplant Manager

  • Watering, stocking, and maintaining houseplants (November–March)

  • Watering, ordering, cleaning, and maintaining perennial plants

  • Assisting customers with plant questions and selections

  • Plant knowledge preferred

Store Laborer

Part-Time

  • Loading bagged goods into customer vehicles

  • Assisting customers as needed

  • General upkeep and labor throughout our retail facilities

Landscape Foreman

Full-Time | Career Position

  • Overseeing landscape crews of 2–3 people

  • Meeting project timelines while maintaining Maria Gardens’ quality standards

  • Operating trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment (skid steer experience preferred)

  • Year-round work, including off-season facility projects
